Scent Profile/ Appearance:
Describing the scent profile for Burmese agarwood can be a little bit difficult that is why we decided to invent a whole new system for describing an agarwood oil olfactory experience generally.
Burmese Agarwood oil, known for its rich and complex scent, often features a deep, earthy aroma with woody and resinous notes. The profile typically includes:
1. **Earthy and Woody**: A grounding base of deep, musky woodiness, characteristic of high-quality agarwood.
2. **Sweet and Smoky**: Subtle sweetness balanced with smoky undertones, reminiscent of incense or burnt wood.
3. **Animalic and Leather**: Sometimes, there's a faint animalic or leathery scent, adding richness and depth to the oil.
4. **Fruity and Floral Accents**: Delicate hints of dried fruits or soft florals can emerge in some variations, lending a softer complexity.
5. **Spicy and Balsamic**: Warm, spicy tones like cinnamon or clove, with a resinous, balsamic finish.
It is soothing, and evocative, reflecting the natural, aged qualities of the agarwood sourced from Burma (Myanmar).
